Getting so big!

Sorry for the 6 month lapse in posting! Life has been very busy these days. Lucy is growing like a weed. She went on a family vacation in October to Dallas and San Antonio. In November she went on her first plane ride with Mommy and Aunt Marie to Phoenix for a wedding. She also got to ride in a Mustang convertible on that trip too, she loved it! Thanksgiving and Christmas were busy with trips to Council Bluffs and Burlington. Lucy's first birthday is coming up in about 6 weeks! It happens to coincide with a family vacation to Florida, including a few days at Disney as well as Miami and the Everglades. She's crawling like crazy, pulling herself up and climbing on anything she can. She waves and is starting to talk too. Lucy's blood sugars are still in the "ok" range but they are definitely on the rise, please keep that in your prayers.

Chrismation!

Lucy was adorable in her chrismation gown and very well behaved through the whole thing. Here she is with Uncle Peter and Aunt Rebekah who are now her godparents as well.

So cute...

Lucy is now almost 5 months old! Her blood sugars are still great and she's such a happy girl. She now really likes to have a personal entertainer rather than just being content with looking at what's going on around her. She has the cutest little giggle and loves sitting in her Bumbo and playing with her toys. This picture is actually from a few months ago. Her hair is getting thicker and blonder and it appears the blue eyes are here to stay!
